Wish I could give half stars. This would be 3.5 stars. One of the most pitiful protagonists I've come across. Took a while to catch the format of the story. The middle was fast-paced and engaging. The end was a touch predictable.

This is my second audio book in a row with pathetic, unhinged, drunk, stalkery, desperate women. I listen to audio books while I'm cleaning, and this at least held my attention enough to distract me from dishes. There was some fun mystery in there hence the second star, once you got past the horrible female desperation. Hard to get past that though. Can I please distract myself from dishes with something other than misogynist drivel?
