Hard to put down. I did not find it to be great literature but was a decent story that kept me interested. Writing was ok. This would be a good beach read. Interesting but not too deep

a fast-paced thriller with a wonderfully untrustworthy narrator. There were moments that the whole 'discovering the crime via memories' got a little long and repetitive, but I applaud the author with the sprinkling in of other viewpoints to change things up in those moments. I thought Anna's viewpoint was completely unnecessary, but that's just me! All in all, a great read for those that enjoyed Gone Girl. ...more

I did it. I read it. I tried to resist. I really did. I often don’t like wildly popular novels. So I resisted as long as I could. But finally gave in.

The narrative is first-person, alternating between

I enjoyed this book and finished it very quickly. It is an easy book to read and is told from the perspective of the several women involved in the story. This was an excellent way to tell the story and added to its drama and suspense. While the story is a little dark, I found the plot to be compelling and interesting. I have no hesitation in recommending this book.
