These books are all about how to accept love and help from others and how to grow as a human being in connection to those around you, loved ones as well as the community. These are prolly my favorite books of the year.

Not a giant fan of the first or second book in the trilogy, I enjoyed Lila immensely, much to my own surprise. I read this for a reading retreat. This book is a great choice for discussion with great secondary characters. I highly recommend. I think I understand why everyone raves about Marilynne Robinson now. Phew!

I would give this book 10 stars if I could. As good as Gilead and Home. Fingers crossed she keeps writing books.
