Imagine the Cirque du Soleil (“Quidam” edition) being transformed into a book of poetry. If possible, it might come out looking like The World Doesn’t End. In way of review, that might be about the best I can do, especially after only one reading. At the half way point, I wasn’t even sure what I thought of the collection. But by the end I was hooked. an exquisite corpse prose poem by Charles Simic and Vicky Idk

The room is empty,
And the window is open
The neighbor next door is speaking as loudly as possible on the phone, asking-shouting, "What's that smell??" hoping to communicate a passive-aggressive tone through my living room wall. I am still for a moment to let it sink in whether the question is directed at me, and after giving the stale air a few sniffs, I am able to confirm the source is somewhere here, at the bottom
