The back blurb of my copy of this book calls it the best B-movie read in awhile, and I have to agree with that description. Which is funny because normally I don't like B-movies. Actually, this book managed to overcome a lot of my "normally likes" -- I normally like clever protagonists but while Stark might not have been passed the idiot ball, most of the other characters, good and bad, are a step ahead of him each time.
