Lots of stupid errors that don't affect the story's truth, but that do chip away at the credibility of the storyteller as an historian. Anyone who can read a family tree can tell that FDR had FIVE children in 1945--the sixth died in infancy. Ditto the Churchill family--five children born, but one died as a small child. Churchill's mother's name was Jennie Jerome, not Jennie Jerome Randolph. She became Lady Randolph Churchill upon her marriage. There are more of this type error. Aga ...more

Another great read in the "Killing" series by O'Reilly & Dugard. So much interesting history that gets weaved into these focused biographies. In this one on Patton one learns a lot about the last months of WWII in the European theater. And this one has a bit of an intriguing, puzzling ending surrounding the death of General Patton. I now want to rewatch the excellent Patton movie, starring George C. Scott as Patton; can't remember if that treats his death or not. Read this on my Kindle as an ebo
