What Members Thought
Love the cover art but the text and the cover didn't connect for me. This book is about sisters, family, love and betrayal, war and peace and the remaking of lives. Each character in this book reinvents themselves to adapt to the changes they must adhere too. The characters are unique and Lucky Us challenges long held views of what makes a family. This is a book that needs to be talked about.

The cover is really cool -- really, a zebra riding on the back of a lion? Awesome! I liked the first couple of pages also. And then -- tedium. I decided that there are too many books out there to stick with this one. Sorry.
