Uhmmm... I expected more than this, actually. The premise is pretty interesting- about an old woman who is having dementia and losing her memory day by day.. But she's troubled because of her best friend Elizabeth who is missing, and that reminds her of her own sister who was missing after the World War II.

Oh, wow, if I didn't have to do annoying things like sleep, I would have read this entirely in one sitting. I super loved Elizabeth is Missing! The story is told by Maud who is an elderly widow with a couple of middle-aged kids and a good friend named Elizabeth. Maud is at that age where she knows too many people who have died, forgets some daily essentials, and falls easily into vividly reliving memories.
