Mixed feelings about this one. Can't recall why this was recommended to me or for which challenge, but it counts as a debut book and I think that may be on my reading bingo challenge; definitely a novella so I could count it there.
What I did like about this book is it brought me back to a more youthful time when finding fun and adventure seemed magical and it somehow all just worked out because you had the right people around you. It reminded me of visiting and then moving to LA in the late 80s/ ...more
