It was interesting reading this as we were watching the show. Fun to spot actual parts of the book used, but by and large, the show seems to have taken the book as an idea, and then spun a story away from it, so very little follows the actual storyline.
On it's own, I enjoyed it, but I find the show better in many ways. To compare, it's like the difference between The Shawshank Redemption story and movie. The book is okay, but the movie is incredible. ...more
