I forgot how much I love Harry and Kiz!!
As I was reading, I kept thinking that maybe I had already read this. I thought that I would hit a part that made me realize that I had read it, but no. There was just enough similarity to his other books that I was frustrated not to be reading something new. I guess that I just need to step away from Harry Bosch and Michael Connelly for a while.
Bosch's return to the LAPD and his assignment in the Open-Unsolved unit makes for another fine entry in the series - Connelly makes the shift from writing about an active crime to a cold one well and the pacing reflects it. Always good to see Bosch in fine form.
