This was a good book to read at the beach...and very appropriate since I was at Pensacola Beach in Florida, where his first murder trial took place, and the judge had the same last name as me!
I didn't pay much attention to this affair when it was going on, except to recognize that Ted Bundy was a true sociopath, but I'm glad I didn't Rule's account is truly chilling.

4.5 stars. A terrifying, interesting, and well researched story, part memoir, part true crime. Scary, sad, and unfathomable.
