What Members Thought
Having had personal experience with family members involved in an ultra-religious cult-type church, I can definitely relate to this story. I was re-living what my nieces and nephews went through as I read Aaron's recital of how he had to be and think and act, and how 'holy' he had to pretend to be. The stress of the pretense and the stress of trying to please the adults 'in charge' is tremendous in situations like this, and often ruins the person for life.
