At first, I wasn't really loving this book. I was sort of expecting another Art of Racing in the Rain, and this ain't it! However, as I progressed into the story, perhaps letting my expectations fall away, I really started to like it. What a twisted family, the Riddells! Trevor Riddell travels to the Seattle area with his father Jones to try to get Jones father Samuel to sell Riddell house and the property it stands on. Jones sister Serena wants the house sold but Trevor soon discovers that the ghost of his ancestor Benjamin is stuck in the house until the are becomes a park and is allowed to revert to forest. I liked the themes of protecting the environment and the connectedness of all life.

One review says impossible to put down, but it was easy to do so :) Also easy to pick up, not a page turner but entertaining nonetheless.
