Lucas has spent his summers at his grandfather's place in a small town in Belgium. His grandfather dies at Christmas time, and when his mother and he come back to the house the following summer, he begins to discover things about his grandfather and his grandfather's neighbor, a nun who lives in alone in an old convent.
