OK...honestly more like 3.5 stars. Felt the ending was too contrived.
But really thought provoking...what if someone you loved had a terrible secret?

If you are looking for a read that is disturbing, stirring and at times funny, this is a good choice. It certainly made me think so much about actions and consequences, foreseen and unforeseen. The author has a deft hand in addressing difficult and poignant situations without excess drama and a touch of humor.
This is one of her better books for me. It is laced with tragedy of course. The characters are written very well and not one of the is perfect. To me there was no romance story in this book.
