This is okay. It's the first of this series I've read and I'd probably read more, but it just seemed to me the plot was too obvious. Also, the subplots seemed to drag on unnecessarily after the main mystery had been solved. The description of weather, scenery and customs of the Scottish highlands seems to be what people love about this series, and it is well-done, but I like a more ambitious "mystery" in my mystery novels.
