This one is a little more uplifting and less gloom and doom for Sacandinavian mysteries. It is basically two stories loosely related through detective Ann Lindell. The first involves the socio-political angle so beloved of Swedish writers. In this part a county commissioner leaves a meeting never to be seen again or at least for many years.
