A new series by Sheila Connolly of Orchard Mystery fame, this is going to be quite interesting, I believe. It is set in Ireland, and the author does a good job of setting up the plot, characters, and especially setting. It looks promising.

Very enjoyable cozy mystery set in Leap in County Cork Ireland. Connolly does a wonderful job of mixing action/suspense with beautiful descriptions of the Irish countryside and people. There are bits of coincidence that are a little too convenient within the story but then again it's Ireland and lots of people are related as distant cousins there.

If you would like an enjoyable cozy without any romance while visiting the Irish countryside this is the book for you. ...more

I thoroughly enjoyed this start to a new series! Very atmospheric and some very likable characters. While there are a couple of mysteries, they are not exactly the main focus of the book. I think this is a really good set-up to the series to come, and I cannot wait to read the next!
