The value in this book is for the inspiration much more so than the specific suggestions, which I think Rubin herself would admit. I've been thinking a lot lately about happiness and how to foster it in my own life, mostly by being more aware of happiness as I'm feeling it. It's going well, and spending time reading about how other people make themselves happy is a useful reminder to give happiness the time and attention it deserves.

Maybe I’m doing the whole negativity thing, but this was published in 2009. And you live in New York.
