Nombeko started cleaning latrines in Soweto, South Africa when she was 5. By fourteen, she realized that she wanted more out of her life. Luckily, Nombeko was good with numbers, and is capable of influencing those around her.
This is a quirky novel filled with tongue-in-cheek one-liners. Which was wonderful for a while, but after about 200 pages, I found myself getting tired of continuous humor. I did love all the comments aimed at everyone.

Clever writing but not as good as his first book. I didn't laugh out loud nearly as much as the 100 year old man, but his books are tight, articulate and a great satirical eye into past politics. Always amazed at how he ties it all up into a nice package at the end.
