What Members Thought
Despite the three stars, this was not really a mediocre read. I really enjoyed the writing in the first half, especially the descriptions of Los Angeles. The characters were also intriguing, yet emotionally realistic ... not just quirky in that usual paper thin, formulaic way. I seriously considered buying and reading all his books.
