I adored this book - just flew through it because I enjoyed the story so much. It was the perfect blend of fiction and the historical life of Isabella Stewart Gardner. The setting is Boston and I recognized so many locales. And since I had just been to the Gardner Museum in the past year, I could really appreciate all the scenes there. But the real draw was that the author told an intriguing story which kept my interest to the very end. Can't wait to visit the Museum again.

I have very little artistic talent and don't frequent art museums much. This book taught me a great deal about art forgery techniques and what is legal or illegal in regard to copying art works. A fascinating read.
