I am not a fan of fantasy, but I LOVE Sarah Addison Allen's wonderful little novels!! Her stories have that tiny touch of whimsy, more like a sprinkling of the finest quality of pixie dust, that make them sweetly fun. I think, truly, she deserves her own genre for her marvelously light touch with this--they are books so special, so engaging and wonderful, that I anxiously await each new release. Kate has been grieving for her husband and has let her mother-in-law Cricket take over her life. While Kate an her daughter Devin are getting ready to move into Crickets house they find a postcard from Kate's great aunt Eby and decide to go visit her at Lost Lake. Eby has just decided to sell her property to a developer though she's not entirely comfortable with this decision. I loved all the characters especially Devin and Beulah Dean.
