What Members Thought
Sometimes a book suffers because the one I read before it still hangs around in my mind. This one did- I thought the story was 4 stars and the writing 3 stars, so have rounded up, partly also because of the amount of background information of the life and times in Russia under Stalin, that comes across without effort. Something of a twist in the tale of a daring and famous aviator, it is hard to put down once into it.
