My first thoughts when I grab this book is.. oh I do hope he didn’t wind down on anything. Cause usually authors just don’t keep the pace of their *goodness* when in comes to sequels (Do I dare to call this a sequel?) Not to worry.. no despair! Rick Riordan has done it again. *sound effects* dun dun dun~ He has a magic touch when it comes to modernizing ancient mythologies.

Needs more Percy Jackson, but otherwise an entertaining start to a new story in the Percy universe.

This book was awesome!!. Fast paced and lots of action. Major cliff hanger at the end. I can't wait until "Son of Neptune" comes out.
