What Members Thought
I love Michael Connelly's writing, and I love how smoothly and quickly his books read. With his background as a journalist on the crime beat, his novels do feel like an insider wrote them. I love how easily I become immersed in his stuff also.

Good book! I'm sorry that it took so long to finish this book, but I kept letting myself get sidetracked. I read the last 250ish pages on a long plane ride home. I liked the twists/logic in them. I'm going to keep continuing to read this series as I'd really like to see where Harry goes. :)

Lone wolf detective, Vietnam War veterans, crooked cops, conspiracies, and a ton of plot twists. Solid thriller. Cliche but entertaining.
For most of the book it was a 2 but it improved about 3/4 of the way through. Not enough to make it a 3
