4.5 stars. This is a terrific book about a high school girl who looks for random people to be kind to. She is unique and isn't afraid to show it. It's a book that everyone should read. If we had more Stargirls in this world, it would be a better place. There's tremendous wisdom here, a very thought-provoking read. Highly recommended.

This was a quick and easy read - but a very powerful one.
This book is about being your own person and conformity. Which is more important - the self or group? Spinelli did an absolutely wonderful job at spinning a book that will be relevant for ages. He writes so calculatingly, that despite reading many books on the same topic, I was quickly engrossed and could not put it down.
A definite must read.
