What Members Thought
An amazing organization, the Russian army. The author was a conscript and served on the Russian side in the Chechen war back in the mid-nineties. What he has written here is closer to a horror story than it is a book about armed conflict. Babchenko doesn't hold anything back in this harsh critique of the treatment of Russian soldiers by their own country.
