This biographical work follows the life of Kim Phuc from the time she was badly burned in a napalm strike during the Vietnam war. If I learned anything from reading this, it's that the war in Vietnam was really a pointless struggle; it would have been better to have let the soldiers from the north take over the corrupt Saigon regime from the outset.
