3.5 stars. There's a lot to like about this novel. The bakery by the library concept and the resulting menu was fabulously creative and very funny - i.e. "Tart of Darkness" and "Yeast of Eden!" I genuinely liked most of the characters (except those we aren't supposed to like) and overall this is a really great story.
Sometimes, the little nit-picky stuff that is wrong will drive me crazy. For example, Molly says that some people don't like coriander in their Mexican food since it tastes soapy. Um ...more
