What Members Thought
I re-read this because I had not read it in twenty years and, though I liked it the first time, this time I LOVED it. I don't know what made a difference except this time I found it far more subtle with a depth and a beauty that made the actual story far richer. Before I found Vonny to be whiny and annoying but this time I loved her. Eddie is a wonderful character and Andre was just as compelling yet maddening before. I'm so happy I re-read it because I failed to appreciate its magic years ago.
