I liked this way more than I expected, especially the parallel story from the bible, it made me want to go back and look at Venice more closely.
Julia Garnet takes an extended trip to Venice following the death of her flatmate. Whilst there she befriend several people who seem to have comparisons in a Biblical story which is interwoven with the present day one. I found it an enjoyable and compelling read with a bitter-sweet ending.
