I love this series featuring Hamish MacBeth, set in Scotland, and this one is just as good as the earlier ones. In this one, there are two murders that Hamish investigates, and then someone is tries to kill him. The ending has a surprise in it, also, that helps to resolve an issue that has been continuing throughout the earlier books.
