I think I will have to explain the 2 star rating, it was probably closer to 2 1/2 stars. The premise was a good one: aliens taking over their human hosts(by inserting souls) to make Earth a better place. The world building was inconsistent and not very well explained. I think my reaction to this book is: it was bad, it wasn't great.

I loved this story in the beginning. It was exciting, interesting, and fast paced. Then all of a sudden it slammed against a brick wall and never left. My brain has been turned to mush. It's difficult to write this because I've lost the ability to think...

At first I thought it reminded me too much of the X-Files, then I couldn't put it down. Intriguing science fiction, or is it better called fantasy?
