Third installment in the life of Vianne Rocher where she returns to Lansquenet to find that whilst some things and some people have changed, others have not. Plus ca change.......
I found this really compelling, did not want to put it down, stayed up way past normal bedtime to finish it.
Usual blend of magic and humour which keeps the story light even though it tackles the serious subject of prejudice and hatred.
Loved it - will no doubt be in my top ten of this year.

I LOVED this book! I enjoy traveling to France, especially to small villages, and this book just took me back there. It is set in the small village of Lansquenet, and involves many of the same characters as Chocolat. It was so much more, though, and I simply could not stop reading it, even though I was trying to read slowly so as to savor the ambience and the flavors of the village and of France.
