I am biased towards Scandinavian crime fiction but this one really had me, I read it in 2 days. Couldn't put it down. It wasn't quite as complicated as some of these books can be and it was a little easier to unravel but it was still a complex and detailed story. There was a little weird bit where they had some connecting male characters pegged as unlikely homosexuals but that was never shown to matter to the story or their connection to the victim so I wasn't sure what it's purpose was. Probably the best of the Wallander series so far. Couldn't put it down.

Wallender follows the brutal deaths of several men. Brutality against women, much like Stieg Larrson. Good, a bit slow moving.
