I really enjoyed this book, and I thought it was a great followup to Hunger Games. Suzanne Collins does a fine job extending the problems and challenges that were yet to be solved from the first book. However, it didn't quite have the same OH MY GOSH THIS IS SO AWESOME feeling as the first book. The problem is, I can't really get into why it lacked that feeling without spoiling the book for readers, and I firmly believe that spoiling this book would be wrong. I really like the first book. Even though the premise has been used many times before Suzanne executed it well. This is the sequel. The beginning was interesting because of the aftermath of the first book and the soap opera. Of course the there is some intrigue with possible uprisings throughout the districts. But once the story returns to the capital and the killing games 2 it quickly becomes a re-run. I skipped a ton of pages to get to the predictable ending. I was definitely letdown by this s

I forgot to put this book up on my list. I think I read it sometime during the final week of classes... I can't remember much of the details of the book, but I do remember that while reading it, I was caught up in the action and plot twists. Some characters seemed a little too one-dimensional. The little rebellious actions along the way were well timed in the book, I thought. I can't wait until the third book. :)
