This novel was completely unexpected. It was not what I thought it would be at all. The fantasy aspect to this novel came out of the blue and I enjoyed it. The plot was mildly predictable but a teen who hasn't read quite as many books as me may not notice this. I'll read the next book in the series to see what happens, but as I said the writing is good the plot is just a bit predictable. I would give 3 and a half stars if it were possible ...more
