It was wonderful to reconnect with some top-shelf, classic fantasy for a change. Seems like it's been years, and I can't remember the last time I was this sorry to have the story end.
Richly complex, with an exciting plot and wonderfully perverse characters, it's easy to see why Zelazny's Amber universe is so popular with fans around the world. I particularly liked that we had a bit of our own world woven in, just for good measure. ...more
