My husband has the whole John Carter series, and is pretty pumped about it's upcoming movie release. When I view a movie based upon a book, I like to have read the book first, so that's what I did.
First off, I was surprised that this was from the same man who wrote the Tarzan of the Apes stories. Guess I'd never even wondered what else Burroughs had written.
