I really liked it. It reminded me of the movie I saw oh, so long ago. I would hate for the world to come to this.
I was impressed by some of the speculations in this book, particularly the rise of competing religious fundamentalisms as the new world order. In 1986, that was a stretch of the imagination.
It's creepy how real I feel this dystopia could become with the way the world is going...especially the US with Trump and Pence and Bannon. Look out Atwood, real life handmaidens are coming!!
