Whether you read SF or not, Ray Bradbury writes beautifully. His style is dreamy and lyrical, satirical and funny, and at times creepy as hell.

This had a lot more poetry and wonderment in it than most things I give three stars, but somehow, though parts of it are breathtaking, I felt that parts of it were beautiful and profound and other parts slowed the inexorable march towards oblivion and rebirth that I think Bradbury was going for. Well I hated this book. It is basically a collection of short stories that for the most part aren't entertaining and were boring. I'm sure there are plenty of people who found some deep meaning but, like many books considered classics, it royally sucked. If you like going to the Museum of Modern art and staring at some basketballs floating in a half-filled aquarium, then maybe you would like this book.
