Second Read 2019 5 Stars:
I'm not sure why in my first review I only gave this 3 stars. It may be that I can get into some of the more boring character arcs because I know their future so I was more invested in them than I probably originally was. I don't have as much to say as I usually do. This was just a good book that really had me into it. I've read a lot of bad or at best mediocre fantasy since my first review, so I'm thinking perhaps this made me appreciate a bit more how good GoT is.

It's been about 5 years since I re-read it for A Feast for Crows. Time to read it again for GoT season 2 and A Dance with Dragons.
