What Members Thought
Not nearly as exciting or as unpredictable as the the game of thrones. This is a common illness found in book two of multiple book series. The main characters personalities are already established, the main plot is laid out for all to see and you can start to see the lines of who is going to win... here are my guesses so far maybe not in this book but somewhere in the next 3 or 4.

when i first read Game of Thrones, i thought it was overrated and didnt like the slow pace, bloated plot that needed more editing, and the writing style. after my friend Ben--whose opinions i care about greatly--told me to give it another shot and continue on, i gave it another shot. after watching the TV show on HBO. and liked it a little more, though my original gripes still remained. but im pleased to say that i've completely done a one-eighty on this series and i absolutely LOVED Clash of Ki

Re-reading and prepping for the 2nd season on HBO.
I've read comments on how this volume is just jockeying chess pieces and not much story, but I think that's coming from people who feel compelled to eat a cupcake in one glutinous, choking bite. Take your time people! Enjoy the ride! A work of this magnitude needs work and patience to get things setup properly.
