I never played The Witcher game since I don't have a PS4 in my gaming collection, but I did get the opportunity to watch the series on Netflix. I came across it one night when I was looking for something fantasy to watch and it was amazing. Once I found out that the actor Henry Cavill played the game and read the books, I was interested in reading the books as well. I don't usually read a book that a movie or tv series is based on but lately I have wanted to see what the differences are.

A quick note on the reading order: definitely follow the recommendations. 1. The Last Wish (4 stars). 2. Sword of Destiny (4 stars). 3. Blood of Elves (3 stars). 4. Time of Contempt (3 stars). 5. Baptism of Fire (3 stars). 6. The Tower of the Swallow (3 stars). 7. Lady of the Lake (1 star). 8. Season of Storms (2 stars). Also for those wondering, these books take place before the video games, so probably read them before playing the games if you're interested in that.
