Not a planned read, just a suggestion from a friend and something available while waiting for other things to have as my commuting audiobook. Not brilliant but reasonable, even if the sound effects did get a bit tiresome at times. Haven’t read any Star wars since I was preteen and it does take me back. disappointed me in so many ways. with the news about Disney acquiring Star Wars, and since one of the rumors was that disney would remake one of the expanded universe novels, i did some looking around as to what was generally considered the best of the expanded universe. turns out, this is the trilogy almost universally praised for being the best. but this really disappointed. it just didnt feel like star wars and overall the story was silly. the characters kind of felt like the ones in the movi
