What Members Thought
4.0 to 4.5 stars. Anne Rice's re-imagining of the "vampire" mythos is excellent and Lestat is on my list of "All Time Favorite" characters. As good as this novel is, the books that follow:The Queen of the Damned, The Tale of the Body Thief and Memnoch the Devil are even better. Highly Recommended?

I love this book. I read it because I loved the movie interview with the vampire. This tells the story of Lestat, in the last book you wanted to hate him in this one you'll love and cry for him. I highly recomend this book!

Hated it,worst book I have ever tried to read,beyond that it was corny and cheesy and just really bad at every level.
The best of the vampire chronicles.
