4.5 to 5.0 stars. Another superb installment in one of the best science fiction series of all time. The universe that Herbert created for the Dune series is as good as it gets and his writing and story telling are amazing. HIGHEST POSSIBLE RECOMMENDATION!!!!
I'm not sure what to say about this series. I really loved Dune. The 2nd and 3rd books were ok. The 4th book was horrible. I had already bought this book so I decided to read it because I hate not finishing a series. It was rough. I don't think Mr. Herbert really cared about explaining very much about what the reader will want to understand. There were topics that were integral to the story that I didn't think got a good enough description. Maybe there was and I was just too bored to be interest

Another great novel in the Dune series, if you haven't read them, you should serieously give it a try.
