This is one of my greatest comfort reads, for many, many reasons. If you like science fiction with true ethical dilemmas, great creativity, and wonderful characters, I can't recommend this enough.
While this review is far less detailed than most of mine, I can say that all of the people that I've convinced to read Ender's Game have given it 5 stars...so you should read it too! :) ...more

I've been really lucky, for the last little while I've read nothing but five star books, and this was no exception. I was glued to this book and tore through it in no time. The progression of the story was fairly quick and the author did a good job of making me really feel for Ender.
I won't give anything away except to say that my favorite part of this book was the ending. I don't think I'll be going on to read the rest of this series. I've heard some things about the rest of the saga and the au ...more

Just (June '08) reread this book for the third time--every bit as good as the first time I read it. Orson Scott Card is a phenomenal science fiction writer, and Ender's Game is the first book in his most inspired series.
